Happiness.

Echo Park papers just make me happy!  I bought the three original sets and am loving them--I even love the stickers (and I never love the stickers!).  I had some scraps out on my desk from a recent project and I noticed that they fit Dawn's Color Cue 8 perfectly.  I also wanted to play in the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and shazam--everything came together like magic.
Wheeee!!!  The flowers are from Waltzingmouses's Pic-nic Patterns and the sentiment is from their Rescue Remedies Additions.  I used Colorbox chalk ink in Lime Pastel, Dark Brown, and Maroon (I'm having a Chalk Ink Renassaince after making my ink color chart: sure they stain your clear stamps, but they stamp so vividly!).  Each flower head is popdotted, and each strip is pop dotted.  The button on the Nestie Label 4 is also scarlet, with some fab yellow embroidery thread.

And wait, there's more happiness!  I was so happy when not one, but two! Emilies awarded me this:
Thanks, Emily of My Little Slice of Bliss and Emily of Art from the Heart!  Now to pass it along to seven other happy-making blogs:

Lisa of Lisa's Life Lines
Emily (what's with all the Emilies?) of Emmie Lou Who...Stamps and You!
Denise of Handmade by Me!
Lydia of Understand Blue
LeAnne of Wee Inklings
Jess of Playing with Paper
Brandi of The Squareheaded Stamper

Check 'em out if you need a dose of inspiration!

And my final happy for today...I got these delivered at work last week just because somebody loves me.

I hope y'all had some happy today, too!

What a fun bunch of happy. I'm happy because I got a stack of essays done in record time. I might even have time to >gasp< stamp something!

Aw, what a beautiful post, Meg! Your card is awesome (no surprise there) and how cool that it jives with two challenges? :)

Funny about all the Emilies! I'd only ever met one other Emily in my whole life 'til the past year when I entered blogland. :O We must all be the same age because the name lost its popularity for a whole generation and came back with a vengeance!

I LOVE the flowers and DH sure loves you! ;D

Hi Meg! I stumbled upon your blog over at Emily Keaton's "Little Slice of Bliss," and you make just wonderful cards! I had to laugh when I saw your profile because I'm ALSO a math teacher and have a little dog that basically rules my life. =) I'm really looking forward to following your blog and enjoying all of the great inspiration (and organization tips! I loved those!) Thanks for sharing!
