But you'll have to look with your eyes and not with your hands because this card is taking up permanent residence on my crafting desk. Although to be truly stampy, I should have replaced "time" with "paper." ;)
A fun card to make-printed the quote using Love Ya Like A Sister font onto Echo Park paper, cut out and glued and/or popdotted onto the Echo Paper base. Also added Eat Cake Graphic's Callie's Looking Down, because what card is not improved with a dog. I even brought out the ol' Janome and did some straight stitching with a little zig-zag craziness near the corners because why not.

Perfect quote, perfect card! You're right, this quote may become my new mantra. That Eliot guy, pretty smart. I will point out he has rather famous poems about cats, not dogs. :P But I really like Callie on this, too. Also love the zig-zag randomness!
So very true!!! Love that little peeking puppy!
Awesome card! I love the quote, and I love how it looks here! Can't remember the last time I saw you sew anything (have I ever seen it?)...
I'm off to disturb the universe. And eat a peach.
PS: only 2 hours on Reader? You can do better :)
Thanks for the great quote, Meg!! That is SO perfect, and one that I need to remember always. See? I'm not wasting time!! Great for your stamping room. :)
HAHAHA, two hours is nothing! I do feel a wee bit guilty spending entire evenings on the computer but what other life do I have? LOL I love your card, Meg! The little dog and stitching is fabulous. Since you do it so well, I want to see more stitching from you!
Wow - there must be a lotta husbands that do the same head shaking like mine when I say "5 more minutes"
I said that to my husband just over an hour ago tonight!! Yup - I'm still in my room in front of the computer!!!
I love the sentiment on this card!!! Perfection. Maybe I'll print out a picture of it and put it on my desk!!! LOL
Love that stitching!!! I'm going to get a machine in the spring (I think). I keep waivering...do I want to stitch on cards...or not!
to be continued....
